As residential landscape designers in urban environments, we often face common challenges such as limited space, privacy concerns, and minimal access to nature.

For this backyard renovation, we tackled the task of optimizing two outdoor areas divided by a significant grade change. Our approach prioritized maximizing functional space, enhancing the connection between indoor and outdoor living, and designing a series of distinct yet interconnected outdoor "rooms."
